About Me
Biography
I am an artist from British Columbia, Canada. I was born in Powell River in 1986 which is arguably one of the most beautiful areas on the west coast. Being surrounded by natural beauty, it was only logical that I would indulge in fine arts and photography.

I started doing drawing (well, scribbling) at the age of two. Ever since toddler-hood, I could easily be occupied for hours with simply a pencil and some paper. My mom entered me into various after school art classes, but I felt they weren't advanced enough and continued to hone my craft on my own time.

My family moved to Abbotsford, B.C when I was in my early toddler years. I attended W.J Mouat Secondary School from 1999-2004 and enrolled myself into every art program I could get my hands on. I had a wonderful art teacher and learned many things from him. I still use the techniques he taught me to this day. I was educated in not only 2D drawing and sketching, but also introduced to many other mediums such as mixed media, sculpture, acrylic painting, pen and ink illustration, pastels, and graphic arts.

Photography became a passion later in adulthood. I started off doing concert photography with a simple point-and-shoot, and eventually moved onto DSLR photography just last year in April 2015. I still like to shoot concerts, but mostly I do nature photography -- specifically birds.

These days I fly back and forth between B.C where my family is, and my new home in Pennsylvania. I'm in constant awe of the new natural beauty I constantly discover there. This is why you will see many photos of things from each side of North America such as the Pacific ocean on the western side, and the cardinals and waterfalls of the eastern side.
